Opportunity at a Glance: The Department of Library Services and the Department of Social Studies is pleased to bring a K-12 collaborative grant opportunity to NYC DOE public school libraries. Civics for All, Civics Literacy Through Libraries will provide resources and instruction to advance student engagement, and understanding of civic engagement and social action. All grant recipients will receive a collection of professionally selected library books for students of a selected grade band, a copy of the Civics for All Curriculum, a copy of the Empire State Information Fluency Continuum, and a full-day workshop on integrating the content. This opportunity is eligible for CTLE credits.
