Opportunity at a Glance: Join fellow educators for the Museum of the City of New York’s free online workshop examining the complex history and legacy of American women’s centuries-long fight to win the vote, from the passage of the 19th Amendment to the fight for full suffrage by women of color. Together, we will examine primary source documents, unpack the importance of race for the suffragist movement and voting rights today, and share best practices for engaging students in your virtual and hybrid classroom.  Participants will need an internet-accessible device with audio capability to attend. 1.5 CTLE hours.
