Teaching the Holocaust for Today: A Summer Institute for Holocaust Educators

Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Museum for a two-day professional development workshop geared towards teachers new to Holocaust education.  Participants will gain experience in pedagogical approaches to examining primary sources, understanding myths and misconceptions students may bring to the classroom, and engaging with this material in a sophisticated and complex way.  The conference is an exciting opportunity to network with other teachers and learn from cutting-edge scholars in the field.

  • Day 1 – Tuesday July 21 from 9:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.
  • Day 2 – Wednesday July 22 from 9:30a.m. – 3:00p.m.
