Attend the Center for Brooklyn History’s Election Day Professional Development: “Teaching with Primary Sources: The Brooklyn Connections Program”

Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Center for Brooklyn History’s Education team for an Election Day Professional Development entitled “Teaching with Primary Sources: The Brooklyn Connections Program.” Attendees will do the following:

  • Learn strategies for teaching with primary sources and navigating an archive;
  • Conduct hands-on research in CBH’s landmarked Othmer Library; and
  • Leave with lesson plans and resources for teaching a local history research project.

The event is free for educators. Attendees will be eligible for 7 CTLE credits.  And a complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
