Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Environmental Protection for a professional learning opportunity at the Newtown Creek Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility. Learn about NYC’s wastewater treatment process from experts in the field and view educational exhibits on waste-to-energy and biogas-to-grid projects while touring the Newtown Creek facility in Brooklyn. Educators looking to book trips to the Visitor Center at Newtown Creek this spring will have the chance to see firsthand what their students will be learning.
