Opportunity at a Glance: This institute will explore the demands of 2020-21 Priority Learning Standards and 21st century learning for Multi-Language Learners (MLLs)/English Language Learners (ELLs). More precisely, the sessions will focus on the language of social studies texts and the competencies educators need to promote and foster academic success for MLLs/ELLs. Additionally, participants will be equipped with instructional resources and tools applicable to on-site and remote learning.
Key dates: • November 16th from 3:00-4:15pm • December 3rd from 3:00-4:15pm • December 17th from 3:00-4:15pm (3 synchronous classes; 90 minutes each)
