Opportunity at a Glance: Deepen your understanding of human development and learn to better support the adolescent learner through cognitive development theories and scientific principles. This 6-week course will cover the foundations of development and learning in adolescents in middle and high school. Topics include cognitive and cultural development, social and emotional development, intelligence, motivation, metacognition and effective communication in middle and high school-aged students from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Key dates: Mondays: March 15th – April 19th from 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m.
