Opportunity at a Glance: The formalized discussion process known as the Socratic Seminar requires some setup but the payoff is big in terms of getting kids to listen carefully, argue on point, and feel comfortable taking part in a discussion. In this workshop, Academy Fellow Orli Kleiner shares the resources, guidelines, and tweaks she uses to make Socratic Seminars work in her classroom and online.
