Open to: All Full-Time Pre K-12 Classroom Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Choreography has influenced developing technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and surveillance systems–sometimes with unjust results. Participants will examine how choreography might be used to create less prejudiced technologies and how technology can be used in the creation of dance pieces in our classrooms. See below bullets that outline classes for the course.
- The first two sessions, teachers will learn from Sydney Skybetter; and
- The third session, participants will exchange ideas with other brilliant teachers.
In addition, participants will complete homework for each session.
CTLE-credit is available. This program is free for public and charter school teachers. Participants are selected by application and nomination.
