Opportunity at a Glance: As cited in the May Op-ed by Chancellor Banks, schools are invited to participate in the Day of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Created by MIT Raise – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education, the Grades K-12 Day of AI curriculum is a set of student-facing lessons and activities to provide students with a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and its impact on our daily lives. The curriculum also includes connections to careers in AI, AI in Social Media, and Data Science. The materials are designed for students and educators who have yet to gain prior experience.
