Apply to the Games for Change (G4C) Student Challenge Program

Opportunity at a Glance: Learn how to incorporate game design and game-based learning in your classroom through the 2021-2022 Games for Change (G4C) Student Challenge – A program and competition through which students create digital games about issues impacting their communities.  The program is highly flexible and can be incorporated into existing curriculum run during school hours or taught as an after-school/extracurricular course.

The program is open to all middle/high school NYC DOE educators (6th – 12th grade).  All trainings will be provided during the 10-hour virtual professional development; no prior experience with computer science or game design is required.
Key dates:  Professional development will be held during school hours and after school hours in October 2021.
