Instructional Routines and Protocols for Engaging Multilingual Learners/English Language Learners in Mathematics – Grades 6-12

Opportunity at a Glance: Instructional routines and protocols are equitable practices that facilitate the access to grade level content for Multilingual Learners/English Language Learners (ML/ELLs) while reducing cognitive (content and language) demands.  During this virtual series, educators will engage in instructional routines and protocols for mathematics such as, “3 Reads”, “It Says, I Say, and So”, “Stronger Clearer” and others, that build autonomy for ML/ELLs and engage them in the core instruction.

Key dates:  Wednesdays: 11/3/2021, 11/10/2021 & 11/17/2021 from 2:30p.m. – 4:00p.m.
