Using Graphic Novels in the Classroom with the Museum of Jewish Heritage

Opportunity at a Glance: This program will introduce graphic texts as an accessible way to teach about difficult and potentially painful histories.  Participants will analyze excerpts from the the following graphic novels White Bird, Maus, Magneto Testament, When I Grow Up, They Called Us Enemy, Barefoot Gen, and more to discuss how to introduce these texts to students.
Key dates:  Wednesday March 23rd from 5:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.
