April Break 2022 Mini-Institute: Grading for Accuracy, Equity, & Social-Emotional Wellbeing

Open to: Grades K-12 Teachers, Administrators and Field Support Staff
Opportunity at a Glance: Join us during April break for 3 morning mini-institutes on grading that will focus on the following:

DAY 1: Limits of Traditional Grading
Key ideas & practices from the acclaimed book Grading for Equity, w/ Dr. Shantha Smith from author Joe Feldman’s Crescendo Education Group

DAY 2: Grading for Accuracy, Equity, & Social-Emotional Wellbeing
Supporting academic excellence & equity with competency-based grading and the new NYC DOE Grading Policy Toolkit

DAY 3: Making the Shift: Grading that’s more clear, useful, & fair

**We suggest participating as a school team of 2-3 teachers/administrators.  Supported work time to plan for meaningful change in your school/classroom
