Open to: All Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this webinar participants will do the following:
- Explore how the range of multimedia formats in The New York Times means there is something for every learner, every day;
- Discuss strategies for selecting high-interest content that teachers tell us is accessible for a range of learners, including English Language Learners, middle school students and students with lower reading levels; and
- Take a tour of the Learning Network’s growing library of student activities, which we have developed for a broad range of learners.
We will also share with participants how to implement scaffolding strategies to make all of these resources, including traditional Times articles, more accessible.
