Community, Solidarity, Action: Teaching Civics with NYPL

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us this Election Day for a full program of civics-themed professional learning for teachers. 
The day will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul. Dr. Cherry-Paul has adapted the #1 New York Times Best Seller Stamped (For Kids).  Teachers will also have the opportunity to attend two additional breakout sessions of their choice.

Additional Information

  • Virtual and in-person participants will receive classroom resources from all three sessions.
  • In-person attendees will also receive a free copy of Stamped (For Kids).
  • Eligible NY State educators can receive 5 CTLE credit hours for participating.
