Open to: All Teachers and Educators
Opportunity at a Glance: Does pairing an image with a short note and dashing it off to a friend sound familiar? During this workshop for educators of all ages, we will use New York Public Library’s historic postcard collection to demonstrate how communities advertised their local flair and communication changed over time.
Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to closely examine historic postcards firsthand, preview forthcoming curricular resources from the Center for Educators & Schools, and learn how to create postcards in their own classrooms.
