Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a thought-provoking talk with author and illustrator Matteo Farinella and explore the intersection of science and art in illustrated works. During this session participants will do the following:
- Focus on the unique opportunities and challenges of bridging science and art;
- Discuss the importance of visual and science literacy, as well as how comics can be used to enhance learning outcomes for students of all ages; and
- Gain valuable insights into how to integrate science in their teaching practice, as well as practical tips for fostering visual literacy.
Eligible NYS teachers will receive 1 hour of CTLE credit.
