Opportunity at a Glance: This session will introduce participants to the unique affordances of digital media and technologies in museums by exploring resources produced by the Museum’s Education, Exhibition, and Library departments. See below for session details.
- Session 1: Participants will go over materials and resources available online that can be used for pre and post Museum visit activities.
- Session 2: Participants will explore the museum’s new Insectarium to identify digital media and technologies (such as videos, touchscreen kiosks, inter-actives, and more) that can be used to support learning during onsite field trips to the Museum.
Key dates:
- Session 1: Wednesday July 12 (Online) from 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. EST
- Session 2: Sunday July 16 (In person at the Museum) from10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. EST
