Open to: School Librarians and Teachers-Assigned to the School Library
Opportunity at a Glance: Get ready for the first day of school as a librarian. During this workshop participants will do the following:
- Learn about the extensive programs, initiatives, and supports offered by the NYC School Library System;
- Build understanding of the Empire State Information Fluency Continuum and the Stripling Model of Inquiry;
- Explore the Citywide Digital Library on Sora and NOVELny databases; and
- Start building a professional learning community.
Participants are eligible to receive up to 5 CTLE hours.
