Opportunity at a Glance: STEAM in the City at Barnard College is a professional development fellowship program for grades K–8 teachers in Harlem and the south Bronx interested in experiential STEAM education informed by our local surroundings.
We are beginning recruitment for our next cohort of Teacher Fellows, and are offering a free trial session for prospective teachers! Join us over winter break for an astronomy workshop lead by Prof. Reshmi Mukherjee of the Barnard Physics Department. Try out new hands-on activities for teaching about galaxies, black holes and more!
