Open to: Grades K – 12 Teachers, Instructional leads and Administrators
Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics for a full day session serving as an introduction to the Civics for All Initiative. Participants will explore the program design and components of the Civics for All curriculum, as well as consider opportunities for successfully integrating Civics for All into their classroom and school culture. Participants will leave the session with ready to use resources and materials for civics and social studies instruction. The day will include a private tour of the Museum of the City of New York’s exhibit, “Activist NY”.
Breakfast will be offered at 8:30 and lunch will be served.
