Opportunity at a Glance: Explore the importance of movement in the classroom with acclaimed choreographer and Creative Outlet Artistic Director, Jamel Gaines. During this professional learning workshop, educators are invited to develop their own choreography and learn how movement can be used for kinesthetic learning, encouraging collaboration, and classroom management. Educators will explore various dance techniques, including African, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, as they discover the intersection of dance, physical health, and mental development.
$10 fee. Apollo Education is a CTLE sponsor. Participants will receive two hours of CTLE credit for participating.
