Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a half-day of professional development focused on the benefits of incorporating chickens into your curriculum. Caring for chickens can be an effective way to increase student engagement, investigate how organisms change and develop over time, and learn about animal needs.
Participants will visit a school to see firsthand what a successful chicken project looks like. In addition, participants will explore opportunities for funding these types of projects, as well as participate in a hands-on activity to dive more into understanding chickens.
