Opportunity at a Glance: “New York City and Global Migration: Urban Transportation, Housing, and Labor” is the title of the NYU’s Kevorkian Center Summer Institute 2024. During this intensive 5-day program participants will learn from and participate in the following:
- A combination of expert presentations;
- Hands-on workshops;
- Field trips around NYC focusing on migrant communities from the Middle East, Latin America/Caribbean, and Asia; and
- Developing classroom activities integrating these global topics.
Educators can earn up to 43 CTLE hours and a $500 stipend upon completion.
