Opportunity at a Glance: End Recess Squabbles is a social problem-solving professional development using Story Emotion Social Therapy (SEST) methodology with lower and middle-elementary-age students. Rather than assuming what children are about to say or immediately telling them what to do, SEST WholeStory uses mutual storytelling to connect and solve social problems. Teachers and staff will learn to help children discuss perspectives on social situations to guide children in understanding how to think more deeply and make helpful choices in real-life social challenges.
Full day $199 per person.
Key dates: Chancellor’s PD Day or any in-service PD the school would like to provide during the daytime or evening hours.
