Apply for Our Connecting New Chemistry Science Standards to a Historic Museum Teacher Workshop

Open to: Grades 9 – 12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: How can strontium isotopes in mammoth tusks reveal migration patterns of these ancient creatures?  How can the atomic makeup of minerals reveal the properties used to design some of the world’s most expensive gemstones?   During this workshop, we will delve into the three-dimensional approach to New York State’s P-12 Physical Science Learning Standards and Assessments and explore unique phenomena, designed to bring Chemistry to life at the American Museum of Natural History.

This session is free and offers CTLE credits upon completion.
