Participate in the Jewish Museum Educator Workshop Unearthing the Ancient World: Archaeological Dig

Open to: All Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: PreK-12 educators are invited to experience the Jewish Museum’s simulated archaeological dig – Unearthing the Ancient World: Archaeological Dig.  Learn about the archaeological process and discover what artifacts can teach us about how groups of people lived, worked, and interacted in ancient times.  View original ancient artifacts, excavate replicas of collection objects in the simulated dig, and create a mosaic or clay artifact in the Museum’s art studio.

Participants will receive an educator pass for free admission to the Jewish Museum for one year and a copy of Archaeology: A Resource for Educators.
