Participate in a Simulated Archaeological Dig Educator Workshop at the Jewish Museum

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for an opportunity to experience the Jewish Museum’s newly reimagined simulated archaeological dig.  During this workshop participants will:

  • learn about the archaeological process;
  • discover what artifacts can teach us about how groups of people lived, worked, and interacted in ancient times;
  • view original ancient artifacts, excavate replicas of collection objects in the simulated dig;
  • create a mosaic or clay artifact in the Museum’s brand-new art studio.

All participants will receive an educator pass for free admission to the Jewish Museum for one year and a copy of Archaeology: A Resource for Educators.

Fee: $18.
