Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Social Studies and the Museum of Jewish Heritage for a full-day professional development session, featuring a guided tour of the new exhibit Speaking Up! Confronting Hate Speech. The exhibit explores the connection between language and mass atrocities, offering strategies for countering hate speech in our communities. Participants will also engage with key resources from Civics for All and Passport to Social Studies to help teach complex geopolitical issues. This session will equip educators with valuable tools to address these critical topics in the classroom.
