Opportunity at a Glance: Join members of the NYC DOE Department of Social Studies and Civics as they lead an unpacking of the Passport to Social Studies curriculum and materials. During this session participants will focus on making connections between the Passport to Social Studies curriculum and the exhibitions and resources of the Tenement Museum, and highlighting course content related to migration, immigration, urbanization, and housing.
In addition, attendees of this full day, in-person workshop will tour the Tenement Museum exhibition A Union of Hope: 1869 and learn about resources and program opportunities for our students.
