Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics at the Museum of the City of New York for a full day professional learning session serving as an introduction to the Civics for All initiative for any teacher looking to utilize the NYCPS created curricular resources. Participants will do the following:
- explore the program design and components of the Civics for All curriculum;
- consider opportunities for successfully integrating Civics for All into their classroom and school culture;
- tour exhibits at the Museum of the City of New York; and
- learn about resources and program opportunities for students in connection to civics.
