Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a workshop that explores the exciting exhibition, The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt. The exhibition includes magnificent paintings, prints, and drawings by Rembrandt van Rijn and his contemporaries depicting scenes from the Book of Esther and presented with Jewish ceremonial art related to the holiday of Purim. It was a key source of inspiration for diverse communities in 17th-century Holland, both Jewish and Christian.
In addition, participate in a tour of the exhibition with a Jewish Museum educator and engage in a studio art project inspired by works of art on view.
