Teaching Hard History: Using Passport to Social Studies and Hidden Voices to Teach Challenging History

Open to: Grades K – 12  Teachers, Instructional Leads, Administrators
Opportunity at a Glance: This workshop will focus on strategies and effective instructional approaches for teaching difficult topics in history with a focus on making connections to current events.  Participants will explore effective instructional approaches to teaching difficult topics and how to build civil discourse using Passport to Social Studies and Hidden Voices.
