Opportunity at a Glance: This hands-on traveling workshop explores Brooklyn’s green spaces, including Brooklyn Grange (urban farming), Kingsland Wildflowers (green infrastructure/ecology), and Brooklyn Botanic Garden (horticulture). During this workshop educators will discover how sustainable food systems, native habitats, and green infrastructure function in a dense urban setting. The goal is to equip teachers with practical strategies and resources on agriculture, local ecosystems, and climate change for students.
NOTE: We will travel via bus and seating is limited.
