Opportunity at a Glance: This hands-on traveling workshop explores Brooklyn’s green spaces, including Brooklyn Grange (urban farming), Kingsland Wildflowers (green infrastructure/ecology), and Brooklyn Botanic Garden (horticulture). Educators will discover how sustainable food systems, native habitats, and green infrastructure function in a dense urban setting. The goal is to equip teachers with practical strategies and resources on agriculture, local ecosystems, and climate change for students. We will travel via bus and seating is limited.
