Open to: Grades K – 12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Field trips are intended to be fun, engaging experiences for school groups; however, teachers know that stress‑free trips are rare. Whether buses arrive late, students have high energy and require additional redirection, or staff support is limited, many factors can quickly turn a fun outing into a challenging experience.
During this workshop, participants will explore strategies for managing themselves and supporting others through the inevitable disruptions that occur while on trips. Participants will also get resources to make their trips to the American Museum of Natural History as smooth as possible (i.e. how to book trips, entrance and ticketing protocols, etc.).

Location: American Museum of Natural History – 200 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024
