Opportunity at a Glance: Join TeachRock and the Department of Social Studies and Civics for a day of professional learning at Brooklyn Bowl. Attendees will explore TeachRock’s resources and discover how to use music as a primary source pedagogy, investigate Passport to Social Studies, Civics for All, and Hidden Voices curricular materials about the intersection of social movements and popular music in US history, while engaging as well as learning with special guests.
This session will provide teachers with lesson plans, materials, and strategies to bring this transformative cultural movement to life in their classrooms.
