Opportunity at a Glance: The Urban Advantage (UA) Science Initiative application for the 2026–27 school year is open. Elementary and middle schools, with grades 3–8, are invited to apply for this integrated, practice-based learning community focused science initiative.
Schools accepted into the program will receive the following:
- high-quality professional learning for teachers and administrators;
- resources and materials; free access to the eight UA institutions; along with
- additional benefits as outlined on UrbanAdvantageNYC.org.
