Opportunity at a Glance: Join STEMteachersNYC for our Kid Talk Teacher Talk workshop. Discover how purposeful questioning and student-centered discussion can deepen learning in elementary STEM classrooms. Explore strategies for launching hands-on investigations, facilitating rich scientific conversations, and helping students take increasing ownership of classroom discourse. Through guided practice in a Summer Rising classroom plus active coaching and collaboration with fellow educators, participants will strengthen your ability to foster meaningful talk across science, literacy, and other content areas.
