Opportunity at a Glance: Join STEMteachersNYC for our OpenSciEd Elementary: Storylining and Sense-Making from Phenomena workshop. Led by OpenSciEd trainer and New Jersey Science Teachers Association President Elect, Jackie Katz, plus two STEMteachersNYC elementary teachers, we have got a virtual and hands-on workshop exploring early and late elementary OpenSciEd units. Experience investigations in both “student” and “teacher” modes, and learn to use storylining and anchoring phenomena to spark curiosity. Whether you use OpenSciEd or not, you will leave with equitable strategies to deepen student discourse and engagement.
CTLE is offered, and POs are accepted.
