Opportunity at a Glance: Join Billion Oyster Project Teaching & Curriculum staff to explore a BRAND NEW, fully standards-aligned unit: ECOSYSTEMS. We will spend the morning together to explore the unit storymap as well as run through some lessons and activities.
Standards: MS-LS2-1, MS-LS2-2, MS-LS2-3, MS-LS2-4, MS-LS2-5
During this session teacher will do the following:
- Dive into to the new unit with us and gain access to all lesson plans and materials.
- Explore classroom activities, engaging in student hat moments followed by teacher hat discussion.
- Become familiar with oysters and the role they play in the NY Harbor ecosystem.
- Connect with other teachers in the Billion Oyster Project Community.
