Opportunity at a Glance: In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum is excited to offer a limited number of FREE virtual Memorial tours for NYC and NJ schools.
During these 40-minute interactive tours, offered exclusively around the anniversary, students take in panoramic views of the rebuilt World Trade Center to do the following:
- discover the meaning behind the 9/11 Memorial,
- learn about what happened on 9/11; and
- consider how people selflessly responded in the aftermath of the attacks.
This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the New York City Council.
Key dates: Thursday September 10 and Monday September 14 at 9:00a.m., 10:15a.m., 11:30a.m., and 12:45p.m.
