Opportunity at a Glance: In this session participants will consider the ways that the Civics for All initiative supports the Instructional Leadership Framework. In particular, participants will explore how the content, learning activities, and focus on discussion and extended writing support Instructional Priority 1: Strengthening Core Instruction. The Civics for All curriculum is a comprehensive starting point for Instructional Priority 3: Using A Shared and Inclusive Curriculum, and provides opportunities for teachers to foster student voice and center the experiences and communities of all learners, as is expected in Priority 2: Knowing Every Student Well. School-based ILTs are encouraged to attend together. CTLE is available for this opportunity.
