Open to: All teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: ‘What’s Going On in This Picture?’ is a fun and engaging activity that can be used across grades and subject areas to help students develop critical thinking and observation skills.
Here’s how it works: Each Monday we posts an intriguing photograph that has been stripped of its caption. Then, students join a live-moderated discussion, telling us what they notice and what conclusions they can draw. We then post the reveal each Thursday.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss ways to use “What’s Going On in This Picture?” in subjects from science to social studies, English to the arts, and we’ll participate together in our own live “WGOITP?” activity.
Key dates: Thursday, June 25, 2:00-3:00pm ET
