Opportunity at a Glance: Teaching students how to read, interpret and question graphs is a key 21st-century skill. One of The Learning Network’s weekly features, “What’s Going On in This Graph?”, provides an authentic way for students to interpret graphs, evaluate their reliability and draw logical conclusions. Each week during the school year we spotlight a new Times graph and host a live discussion to help students notice, wonder and deepen their analysis.
In this webinar, we walk you through the components of “What’s Going On in This Graph?” Learning Network editors will be joined by Sharon Hessney, math teacher, A.S.A. member and lead contributor to this feature.
