Opportunity at a Glance: For well over a century Muslims have lived, worked, and prayed in Brooklyn.  Brooklyn has been a major center of Muslim life for New York City and the people of the Muslim community.  Join fellow educators and authors of our new Muslims in Brooklyn curriculum led by Dr. Habiba Noor and Alex Tronolone, This will be the first in a series of three professional learning sessions. We will explore a curated selection of oral histories that amplify these experiences while teaching engaging methods for helping students to actively listen to and analyze this exceptionally rich and moving primary source material.
