Opportunity at a Glance: The English Language Arts Committee of the U.F.T. invites you to join Dr. Brian Jones, Associate Director of Education at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture for an exploration of educational resources available from the Schomburg Center. These resources are designed to deeply engage students in topics related to Black history.
Dr. Jones is a former New York City public school teacher and a contributing author to several books, including the forthcoming “An Uprising for Educational Justice: Black Lives Matter at School”.
