Opportunity at a Glance: The Apollo’s Between the World and Me Teacher’s Guide provides information on discussing race in the classroom, lesson plans that address primary themes in the book, staged reading and the HBO special (premiering in November), and resources that connect the work to the arts, ELA, and social studies. The Guide also includes resources that highlight historical and contemporary voices on Black life. The facilitator will walk educators through how to use the guides in the middle school and high school classrooms.
