Opportunity at a Glance: BRING SOLAR ENERGY INTO YOUR CLASSROOM!
Register today for the NYC Solar Schools Education Program, hosted by the DOE Office of Sustainability in partnership with Solar One. The Program is FREE for all 3rd grade -12th grade DOE teachers and is delivered virtually.
A solar installation at your school is NOT required in order to participate in this program. NYC Solar Schools Education Program participants receive standards-aligned virtual lessons, interactive activities, free classroom materials, and strategies for incorporating renewable energy and climate change content into curriculum.
Key dates: Multiple dates through January, February and March 2021, offered in 2 Saturday sessions or 4 afterschool sessions
